Richard Herod III
General Manager at White Bear Mitsubishi
Richard Herod III is the General Manager of White Bear Mitsubishi. In March of 2010, a former Saturn dealership became White Bear Mitsubishi and sold two cars the first month. Five months later (August, 2010), Herod was named general manager. Since then, the dealership has grown to now selling approximately 100 new vehicles a month and an equal number of used. White Bear Mitsubishi has been #1 Mitsubishi dealer in Midwest, and #2 in the nation, for several years. Under his leadership the dealership supports, among other community efforts, Second Harvest Heartland, Memorial Blood Centers, White Bear Lake Marketfest, Woodbury Days, White Bear Lake’s Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Minnesota, Grand Old Day, Cystic Fibrosis, and Twin Cities Pride. White Bear Mitsubishi embraces and celebrates diversity, shown through support of publications, events, and celebrations of the LGBTQ community. Herod’s parents both are deaf, and he has been active with the hearing impaired all his adult life. A graduate of St. Paul Central High School, he is a prime mover in the fund-raising and administration of a major scholarship program at that school. He knows who’s inside the Bear costume, but he’s not talking.
